EHMANNS fishing Hot Spot bivvies include two large mosquito nets with nylon covers at the back side. In contrast to double skin bivvys with the mosquito net on the top, you will not have to cope with rain inside your Bivvy during erection. The large mosquito panels in the entrance ensure optimal ventilation, avoiding build up of condensation. We decided to work with a 4 rib frame system in all of our Hot Spot and Pro-Zone bivvies, because the fourth frame avoids intrusion of rain and heavy illumination from the front within the hot summer months. Furthermore, an overwrap used on a four rib bivvy will gain way more extra room than a three rib one! The front includes a both way opening multifunctional door with clear window, mosquito net and nylon cover. The multifunctional side windows are equiped with a mosquito net, clear window and nylon cover, too. On demand each side - or even all three at the same time can be rolled up individually. No matter the weather - your view of the water will be great.

Our Hot Spot and Pro-Zone bivvies are delivered with a thick removable groundsheet, because quality was at the centre of our focus in development – not the price. The exterior walls have peg clips at different heights to cope with ground irregularities and extra tension pole storm security clips, too. Furthermore delivery includes an aluminium frame support, a set of sturdy hammerproof pegs, a lantern hook, 2 rod retainers with hook-and-loop fasteners and a strong carrying bag, large enough for your bivvy and overwrap. The picture shows only a sample, the original modell will be including our Logo printed on the bag and a shoulder strap.

All our bivvies are identical when it comes to structure and the multiplicity of features. You can look up the exact details from the following description. But if you are looking for a really huge tent, you will find it in the hot spot XL 2 man bivvy! Two Bedchairs and the approriate equipment fit in easily. You will also enjoy the headroom at up to 160 cm. A good idea we assembled was the partition within the hot spot XL 2 man bivvy to divide the front rack from the sleeping area. It can easily be put off with a zipper to have more room.

Pro zone bivvies are made of 7001 T6 aluminium frames, which are used in expedition tents. The stability of this material, known as „featherlite“ is comparable to the wrongly citated 7075 dural aluminium. (Tensile Strength 7075 Rm = 520 N/mm2, 7001 Rm = 460 N/mm2, 6061 Rm = 260 N/mm2).
Pro zone frames have a diameter of 11 mm, weight 15% less compared to the typically used 6061 frames and are of far higher value. Like all EHMANNS fishing Bivvys, our Pro-Zone Bivvys are built with a four rib frame system.
